Use this app to discover Volusia County’s beach parks and access points or to find an open vehicle ramp and cruise our beautiful drive-on beaches. Tide and weather forecasts will help you plan your day. Volusia County Florida Beaches app provides real-time information on beach parks, lifeguard stations, drive-on ramps, access points, and restrooms. Includes detailed information on park features, updates on ramp closures and openings, lifeguard stations, live beach camera streams, weather forecasts, and tide information. Covers all of Volusia County Florida beaches, including Ormond, Daytona, Ponce Inlet, and New Smyrna Beach. GPS enabled devices display distance and direction to beach features, and with one touch, get driving or walking directions using your mobile device. This app is being provided by the County of Volusia Florida.
Version History Tides: the list of tide locations is back, so users can choose any of the seven stations again. The chart still appears above the details, so there's no need to scroll to see it. Inlet Park alerts: users can now choose which parks they get alerts for, the same way they do for beaches. Lighthouse Point Park and Smyrna Dunes Park each have their own bell in Alert Notifications. Until now, anyone with Beach Alerts turned on was getting every park opening and closing by default. That stops once users update.
